Greenhithe Volunteer Fire Brigade

Welcome to the Greenhithe Volunteer Fire Brigade Website.

The Brigade

The brigade currently has an establishment of 19, consisting of:

Chief Fire Officer - Simon Walkinshaw
Deputy Chief Fire Officer - Gareth Wallis
2 Station Officers
1 Senior Firefigher
14 Firefighters

This year the brigade once again climbed the skytower to raise funds for the Leukaemia & Blood Foundation of New Zealand. We raised over $3000 this year and almost $150,000 was raised in all! Photos will come soon!

Greenhithe Village

Located on the western end of Auckland's North Shore, Greenhithe is a picturesque harbour side suburb with a real village feel.
Unique in many ways, Greenhithe is one of the North Shore's best kept secrets!

Greenhithe is well served with parks, sportsgrounds and harbourside walks. Even though now accessed via the new motorway, it's location, well out of the way, has allowed it to remain special and a little secluded.
Whilst the village feel and easy water access has to be the main draw card, there are numerous clubs catering for many activities including the pony and dog Clubs, Women's sculling teams, the guides & sea scout groups, the tennis & soccer clubs, and the Lions club just to name a few.
