North Shore Volunteer Emergencies Open Day

The New Zealand Fire Service is co-coordinating a Volunteer and Emergency Services Open Day to be held at the North Harbour Stadium between 9.00am and 4.00pm on the 29th March 2008.

The bulk of the activities will be held within the stadium. The theme of the day is to highlight the work of volunteer groups both within the emergency services and the wider community.

Organisations which have already confirmed their participation include the NZ Fire Service (and their volunteer Brigades), St John Ambulance, the NZ Police, Defence Force Cadets, NZ Urban Search and Rescue, North Shore Civil Defence, NZ Rural Fire Authority, YMCA North Shore, Hospice North Shore, SPCA, Kids in Cars, Camp Quality, MOTAT, Surf Life Saving, Coastguard and Youthline.
